What we do not collect

There is no account and no login. You are never asked for a name, address, phone number or email address — except anything you choose to write yourself in the contact form below.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

To see which pages are read, this site uses Google Analytics 4 from Google LLC (measurement ID G-2LCWBG985W). It uses cookies to collect the pages viewed, time on page, referrer, approximate region, and device and browser type. It does not include information that identifies you personally.

To stop the collection, disable cookies in your browser or install Google'sopt-out add-on. SeeGoogle's privacy policy for how the data is handled.

Advertising

This site uses a third-party advertising service (Google AdSense).Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google'sAds Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' cookies atwww.aboutads.info. You can also disable cookies in your browser (non-personalised ads may still be shown).

For how Google uses information in advertising, seeHow Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. The ads shown never change how campsites are ordered or rated.

Affiliate links

Gear pages may contain Amazon and Rakuten affiliate links. If you buy through one, this site may receive a commission. Those places carry a“PR” label before the link, and the links userel="sponsored".

Commission does not change the order or the assessment. Prices, stock and specifications change — check the merchant's page before you buy.

Maps

Maps use Geospatial Information Authority of Japan (GSI tiles). Displaying a map sends image requests from your browser to the Geospatial Information Authority of Japan's servers.

Server access logs

This site is served by Cloudflare Pages. The provider keeps access logs, including IP addresses and request details, for a limited period. These exist to prevent abuse and keep delivery stable; this site does not consult them to identify individuals.

Contact

For mistakes in a listing, removal requests or anything else, see thecontact page. On a campsite page you can report a mistake in one tap, with nothing to type.
