Check before you go

• Booking and check-in — Booking rules differ from site to site. 2 here are confirmed as not needing a reservation; check the rest on the official page.
• Rubbish — Some sites have no bins and ask campers to take all rubbish home. Bring bags and follow the site's rules.
• Toilets and water — Confirmed so far: toilets at 21, a water tap at 16. Where nothing is confirmed, bring enough drinking water and plan for the worst case.
• Season and closures — Some sites close in winter or open only for part of the year, and status can change. 2 here carry a note that they may be closed. Check the opening period on the official page.
• Cold nights at altitude — Air temperature drops by roughly 0.6°C for every 100 m you climb, so nights can be cold even in summer. Pack warm layers and a sleeping bag rated for the elevation.
